The International Adhesions Society (hereafter referred to as, IAS) also respects your privacy. Any information provided to us via mail or email transmission is considered confidential and the information is not released to third parties without prior consent.

Questions or comments regarding this website should be directed by electronic mail to Synechion@aol.com or by mail to us at: Synechion, Inc., PMB 238, 6757 Arapaho, Suite 711, Dallas, TX 75248-4005, United States. 972-931-5596.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and security and have explained in detail the steps we take to do so. We urge you to read our Privacy Policy.

Mailing List

The IAS maintains several mailing lists, for both print and email purposes. This information is kept confidential and not sold, rented or leased to third party individuals. If at any time you receive information from an individual stating that IAS provided your name, please contact if you are concerned over the validity of the contact.

Message Board

The IAS Message Board is provided for members and visitors to ask questions and provide support. You are not required to sign-up to access the Message Board on our website; however, you are asked for your email address and name before posting. To receive daily or digest versions of the Message Board items, you must provide your name (or nickname) and a valid email address. Your email address is available for outside individuals or third parties to send correspondence to you. If you are receiving unsolicited emails or other correspondence, please contact us immediately so that we can attempt to remedy the situation.

Please note that once you post a message to the Message Board, or other forum, it is available for anyone to see who has access to the Internet. You must consider VERY CAREFULLY before posting any information that will allow others to identify you, such as your name, email address, phone number etc. as you will not be able to erase or modify your post. See our Message Board policy overview and detail link for more information.

The IAS provides related and informative links for visitors to other websites. These links are for information only and the IAS is not responsible for the privacy of the websites that the IAS provides links to. Please check with each website for their privacy policy information.

Surveys

The IAS will have surveys from time to time on the website for your voluntary participation. You understand that we may use this information but that individual identifying information (name, address, email address) will not be published, but masked or aggregated with other information

Third Parties

The IAS does not sell, rent, lease or otherwise knowingly provide personal information (names, locations, email, etc.) to vendors, suppliers or other interested third party individuals that are not part of the IAS. However, email addresses are available to third parties from our Message Board pages.

Unfortunately there have been a number of cases of exploitation of our visitors. In most cases the perpetrators have been well-meaning sales people trying to promote products by sending messages to email addresses harvested from our site. In other cases, patients have been offered sums of money to help promote products or services. In still other instances companies have deliberately attempted to circumvent the IAS for their own purposes. However well-meaning (or not), we must point out to you that these activities are highly unethical, and in some cases illegal.

If you are contacted by anyone with a product or service to sell, PLEASE report this to us immediately. Please make sure you get as many details as possible (name of person, name of company, contact address and phone number, date, content of communication etc.). Please forward any emails or printed materials to us. It goes without saying that you should exercise extreme caution in disclosing to anyone any personal details. If you feel that you have been stalked by someone who has obtained your information from our web site, call your local law enforcement or police (e.g. 911) , and then let us know.
