Anne, I too live in Fla and wish I could afford to go on disability. Unfortunately you have to be unemployed for a yr first. I have had multilple surgeries and I am now under the care of a pain specialist who helps me deal with my pain on a day to day basis. He has really helped me a great deal and completely understands what I am going through. I just recently found out that I have 2 bulging discs in my spine on the T-11. and I also have fluid around my heart which the cardiologist did some tests and of course I won't know the results till next week. So I do understand what you are going through. My last surgery was a year in a half ago and the surgeon nicked a main artery. He never informed anyone of his actions and I ended up in ICU with 4 units of blood loss. I had to have the surgery because the adhesions had given me a blocked bowel obstruction. I have decided no more surgeries unless I can't handle the pain anymore.

My suggestion would be to seek a pain specialist who can help you. God Bless and Take Care, I will keep you in my prayers. Dalene
