Yes, I am in the same situation as you are...I have IC and recently underwent a lapro removing tons of adhesions on right left side..You might try pain management using meds to control your pain..Also, pyridium seems to help soothe the IC. My heart goes out to all of us women who suffer from adhesions. I agree more should be done to research adhesions. I found most MD's will not even consider adhesions, especiall the GI doctors. This last lapro I had was my last resort as I couldnt get out of bed. I felt I had no choice but to undergo yet another surgery. Please know you are not alone.
