Dear Anne: My name is Wahida, I also experienced something similar, I had a hysterectomy on December 2003 and then had to go back into surgery on May 2004 because my colon had wrapped around my appendix and both my ovaries with massive scar tissue and adhesions on the abdomen and omentum along with pelvic wall to wall adhesions. It is now August 8, 2004, and I am currently in chronic pain. The pain is a result of adhesions returning. I had a colonoscopy done which was very painful and the results of this indicated adhesions present. Also, I have severe back pain as a result of both surgeries. Currently, I have scheduled appointments to see a holistic healer who practices accupuncture. Also, I will be seeing a pain specialist who will perform a differential nerve block.

Hopefully and prayerfully, this will alleviate the pain and allow me a more realistic normalcy back to life.

Hope this reply has helped you.

I will send my prayers to you.

Wahida.
