Janet - Living life as best we can

Hi Janet, thank you for your kind words. I couldn't agree more with you, we do need to live life to the best of our ability & health.

Life is precious, and one never really knows when our last day will be. Shane and I lost a very dear friend last year to cancer, he was a very special friend to us & I helped his wife nurse him in his last days. It was a privelidge and a blessing, Nick helped me understand how to take advantage of the time we have. He was just 30 years old when he died.

Nick did as much as he could right up to the end, and enjoyed the simplest things as much as the bigger. Sometimes I think we get so wrapped up with everything we do forget to stop and smell the roses...you know?

Do you watch Oprah, Janet? I do, because she tries to make a difference, and she does it well. One of the things I like is her idea of a gratitude journal. I was thinking we could do that here....each time we visit this board, we should post one thing we are each grateful for. What do you think? It's a bit like when Lynda posts one of her "easy recipes".......

Well, it is already 5:05 p.m. on Friday here in Oz......our weekend has begun and time for me to get a wriggle on. I hope you have a great weekend Janet,

love, hugs & cheers,

Jo
