To your question on does lifting makes it worst I definitly say it does. I teach special needs students. I also do community learning experiences. These days wear me out. I have to push wheelchairs and this doesn't help. My job requires some lifting of students and boy does it hurt. It's been two years since my surgery and it's still bad. Also walking and excerising still hurts. As I understand in the readings that the more you strecth the adhesions the harder the tighter they get and as I see the more pain. As asked the doctor what should I do about the lifting and he said I'm not to lift. I love my job and school so I just live with it and take pain mediciation.

I hate to answer the second question but the pain is worst now than I year ago. THe best think is to learn your limits and manage the pain. I'm on pain medication a lot more then a year ago. I ask the dr. when a got a refill how long I would need pain medicine. His answer was he has another patient with adhesions that has been on pain mediciation for 20 years. I gave me 4 refills of 120 pain pills. I quess I got my question answered. stitch in there! Darlene At 08:14 PM 12/10/1999 -0600, you wrote: >Hi everyone!
