Hi Susan, Just like Gina said, even if you have a lap, there is STILL a risk for new adhesions. I have heard from my gyn, and he said that he has contacted 5 general surgeons, and NONE of them arewanting to do the surgery for me, and I even ask if they would try the lap, and he said they cannot get in there, with the res of my surgeries need to be laparotomy.

When I first saw the gyn I see now, before my hysterectomy 5 years ago, the first thing he did was a lap, to see what was wrong, and he did the lap 4 weeks before they did the laparotomy to remove my uterus and one ovary, and he could not believe the new adhesions I formed just in that month, and that was a lap! Hang in there! I have to too!

My gyn is calling a few more surgeons, but he said that Dr Semertzidies is the only one who would operate, and he knows he sort of freaked me out. I do not understand the nose thing he does before surgery.

Love to all Keep smiling! Toni
