Wow, Peggy, I'm sorry that you had to go through so much. After my last surgery, my gyn told me not to come back to him. He said that I'll have to see a gastriantologist (sp?) As for the effects on family, you couldn't be more right! I have a 7 and 2 year old. They're really tired of mom having a bad belly and back ache. Then there's my husband, he thinks that I can just ignore the pain and it will go away. He tries to be supportive, but he just can't understand that sometimes the pain is so bad that I feel like I'm dieing! Anyway, I'm hoping that my dr. will be willing to do an MRI, it's my understanding that that's the best way to see if something is messing with your intestines
