I'm not sure if Dr. Hyde will actually cut any adhesions he finds. We decided that we may just have a look, and take more photos so we can discuss together what to do. I agree with him that of they are indeed back in force, that cutting this time may make things worse since I produce them so quickly. At that point, we may look at some of the products still in clinical trial, or consult with some surgeons who have used these products to prevent adhesions. Or I may just accept that this is a permanent part of my life and go from there.
Can anyone who has had an adhesion barrier used of any sort let me know what their personal results were? It would help me a lot.
Also, is there anyone here from Maine? I'd love to get in touch with a support group, or maybe help start one.
