to jennifer, I was reading your post and wanted you to know that your in my prayers, I am a 56 yr old women with adhesion disease and yes you are unfortunate to have them the rest of your life unless some miracle fix should happen for women and men like us. I have read if you are having your first surgery and have an expert adhesion doctor there are ways to prevent them. I googled intestinal and bowel obstuction and learned alot I found an awesome doctor in florida who believed in me and found an obstruction after three doctors here in this small town in louisiana said there was nothing wrong with me and they weren't going to keep operating on my adhesions because they just come back worse, wish I had a nickle for every time I heard that one Next time you need surgery Dr. Redan in kissemme and Celebration Florida is awesome. He was my angel 2 years ago and I have prayed for him since. Try to get into pain management and get a pain block shot, give it to God and good luck to you. God Bless...
