I don't know about how long if u have a barrier method put in place, but I've been told they almost start growing back immediately and then up to the first six weeks or so. It is fairly quick that the process starts. I have had seven abdominal/pelvic surgeries. The last one in august the surgeon said he used "something" to put between my pelvis area and organs, so we will see. Good luck! Dawn

Hi, we have no support network in NZ and as I don't know a lot about adhesions can I ask if post surgery to remove and treat the adhesions and organs, can they grow back, even if they have had the sheets to keep the organs apart from each other? My gyne surgeon said I'd not need another operation for this.
