Hi Sue and Olivia:

I know exactly how both of you feel. I have had problems for nearly 16 years now. I have had 8 open abdominal surgeries for ovarian cysts, endo, hysterectomy, adhesions, complications, etc.. My last surgery was three years ago with Dr. Jay Redan at Celebration Health. I have to say he is a wonderful surgeon and his surgical techniques on removing adhesions have lasted me three years now. The only problem now is my colon is no longer working due to nerve and muscle damage due to all the other open surgeries. He thinks I have more adhesions as well. He has recommended another adhesion surgery as well as a subtotal colectomy. I have scheduled this for 12/16/09 so that is coming up soon. I have been having problems with my colon for almost 2 years now, it has just stopped working. If you have any questions about Dr. Redan just let me know. Stacey
