I found Dr. Cook, a doctor in California, who operates on the patient (laparoscopic) while they're awake. In this way, the patient can let the doctor know which adhesions to lyse because not all adhesions are the same. Some are more dense (thick) and hurt worse than others. If you live more that 100 miles away and cannot afford the costs associated with travel, there's a company name "Angel Flight" that has experienced, retired pilots, who volunteer to take patients to doctors. They're located in Orlando, FL but I believe the service is available throughout the U.S. Also, the hospitals have staff who can help with lodging in the area. I was once able to stayed for a week at a lovely McDonald House free/low cost while waiting for a follow-up with the doctor after surgery. God Bless You.
