Sara, The doctors telling you it only causes colicky pain are giving you a "textbook" answer. I have suffered with adhesions and its effects for almost 18years and have nausea almost consistently! There are many of us that feel the same way, but until they can "scientifically" prove this...they'll tell everyone they don't hurt or cause any of the things we ALL complain about. Stick with the zofran if you can. When mine gets really bad...don't ask me why this works...but sucking on potato chips and regular coke seems to help. Don't know why, again, but it does.
