What Pain Meds Work For You?

I know I'm not alone when I state that pain is my biggest complaint in
living with adhesions. Well, the nausea and vomiting aren't exactly fun
either, but the pain is what really gets my attention. I have a
wonderful pain doc who has me on the 50 mcg/hour fentayl patch and
hydrocodone for breakthrough pain. With phenergan for the nausea and a
constant watchful eye on my diet (mostly liquid) I now have the tools to
deal with the symptoms. No drug with ever completely take away the
pain. It took me a long time to figure out that pain management really
does mean "Management", and not "zero" pain.
Anyway, I am just curious what other folks have found to be effective.
Anyone care to share?
