Doctors won't take pain seriously

Nancy, I have been in your situation, and I know it is not fun. I had doctors think I was in stress and that was causing my pain. It gets so frustrating. I just have to make a comment before I continue. I read in you post " I am a very stable, professional woman suffering with chronic pain that is falling on deaf ears." I don't think it matters that you are stable, or professional, pain falls on people of all types. I may not be a professional, does that mean my doc shouldn't take me seriously? In any event, back to your question.

You'll have to have your doc refer you to a pain specialist if your pain continues, because if you are suffering from adhesions, these docs are going to make you go in circles and eventually you'll end up seeing a pain doc. Save your time and sanity, get a referal. I hope you can find a solution.

Good Luck and I wish you the best. From: estiny260659@aol.com estiny260659@aol.com Subject: Re: Doctors won't take pain seriously
