Pam,
I totally understand what you are going thru. I have
had 11 surgeries in all due to adhesions. I am trying
to prevent from having any more surgeries, because
the last surgery I had ended me up in ICU with 4
units of blood given so that I could live. I am
currently now with a pain specialist who understands
what Iam going thru and has suggested no more surgery
for me unless it is another bowel obstruction again.
I am on pain med only when I need it. I have been
very lucky and that I have stayed away from surgeons
altogether. I just don't want to lose my life over this.
