Tonya, I know exactly how you feel. I have had 2 surgeries to complete
a hysterectomy. Both of which I had to fight my doctors just to get
them to believe me. Then when they got in there, they found that my
uterus and both ovaries were completely adhered to my intestines because
of endometriosis. Now I still have chronic pain from adhesions, I am
pretty sure my intestines are adhered to my bladder. I am pretty sure
another surgery is going to be coming up soon. and to top it off, the
docs fight me every step of the way when it comes to pain meds. I am so
tired of being told to take tylenol or ibuprofen, like that even touches
this pain. I too used to be a nurse, and now I am back in school
getting my health information management certification, so I know what I
am talking about when I talk to the docs. I am soooo frustrated!
I don't live near you, I am in oregon, but my plight is the same as
yours.
