Tonya, Even though you have acute pain, you really should get an appt. to a pain clinic. Maybe if you have your doc set you up with a pain clinic, you can ask her to give you something until your appt.
If you go to a new OB/GYN, it's possible that they won't give you anything for the acute pain either. Your best option is to get into a pain clinic ASAP
