My opinion is yeah it would make them worse. I had to have a hysto at 29 because my uterus was actually hanging out. I had to wear a brace to keep it up. Plus I had already developed my pain on my side. I think I had a pelvic infection that first started my adhesions. I hope this helps you. Think of it this way...if you can hang on for a while, maybe something might be aproved or somethings will be better for you....by then. Just a thought. Good luck Kristie
