Dear Robin, I'm so sorry about your father. Hopefully now that the doctors know there
is a problem they can fix it and he will live a long and happy life. It doesn't
matter what profession your mother is in, some people have a hard time allowing
others close to them when something important is going on. I remember when my
grandmother died, I came home from school and asked my aunt where she was. My
aunt replied "Good grief, child, she's been dead since 11 this morning." Needless
to say I was very upset, and she didn't have a clue why. I don't to this day
have a clue why it wasn't obvious I wanted to be included. But this time is
different with you and your father. You know he is ill. You can go and visit him
now. Take care and I hope this new treatment works for you. I don't know anything
about it, but if you enter into enough search engines or research this site more
thoroughly, hopefully you can find your answers. With kindest regards and good luck,
Sally Grigg
