Hi Robin
Welcome to the message board, You will find a wealth of information
here!
I don't post much these days, only when something hits home. Your post
on your stomach pain sounds so familiar!
I too have the same pain, I have had adhesiolysis where they found some
nasty adhesions attached around the area of my naval. I believe the
adhesiolysis helped somewhat, it is not nearly as intense, more annoying
now than anything. Anything that rubs, hurts... seatbelts, pants with
zippers, standing in the kitchen cooking/cleaning with my stomach
rubbing up against the counter etc. sound familiar?
I had surgery in Frankfurt last summer, and came home 100% adhesion
free, and remain that way today!Yet I still have that annoying pain, I
don't know why. I have thought maybe it's trapped nerves, but my
understanding is that trapped nerves are in the skin, closer to the
surface, mine is deeper than that, so I'm not sure what the problem
is... I don't know if this helped you at all, but I wanted you to know
that you are not alone, I have the same problem!
