It has been a while since I last wrote, but I am always reading about and praying for everyone! I have been experiencing a great deal of pain since April and I am not quite sure what the source is. Maybe Someone will read this and have an idea or two. The basic story is that last year, I had a hysterectomy (partial) and 8 weeks later, had to have a small bowel resection because i had a tumor wrapped around the jejeunum (small intestines). I was told that the surgeon had to remove the appendix, because it was about to rupture, and he also cleaned out the adhesions from the hysterectomy (a lot more than we expected). Well the recovery time was long and painful...i would say i was in pain constantly until this past october. then....nothing...until this April...I have had menstrual-like pain on my right side...sharp......and not to mention, long bouts of constipation with some diarhea...and intermittent blood. I have an appointment to see my GI specialist on thursday, so I am trying to be proactive about this, but I am in some major pain here and it would be nice to know the source. After recovering from the resection last year, I said I couldnt have anymore surgeries---very difficult...the docs have told me in the past that i may expect more adhesions or possibly a bowel obstruction...does anyone have any ideas or experienced this in the past> please write back on the adhesions site or you may do so to my personal email at ra1908@aol.com.........take care, raijean
