Untill you become tolerant to the medication. Was on MS Contin for
about 7 months, had to change because the pain was severe again. I wish
I could have stayed on MS Contin, but wasn't helping my pain
sufficiantly. Now I take OxyContin 80mg 4 tabs 2x daily and it works
great so far. Good Luck
