Pam, I probably would agree with your doctors in their diagnosis. Adhesions cause many problems...but bowel problems are probably the most prevalent. Welcome to this board. Please take the time to visit the entire International Adhesions site. When you have the time go through the archives searching for posts by Helen Dynda. You will find a wealth of information there. Print things up and bring them with you to your next doctors appointment. Give them to your family and friends who just don't understand what is going on with your life. Also take the time to visit the quilt. Read all the stories there...I am sure you will find many that are very similar to yours...take the time to read mine (Karla Nygren) and post your story. You will learn that more surgery is not the answer unless you can get to one of the few specialists...even then there are no guarantees. Once again welcome. You will find this site not only very educating but filled with love and support. Then there's me. I tend to tell it like it is. I want people to know just how bad it can get...I don't gloss it over. Keeps things on an even keel.....or something! lol God Bless! Karla Pam <anonymous@medispecialty.com> wrote: I had a c-section in 1996 and now I have been advised I have adhesions. I have been experiencing some discomfort that I thought was due to an irritable bowel. The doctor's office didn't seem to concerned. I don't know what to think. Can anyone offer me advise?
