Karla, I am praying that things will work out for you. People need to know that
even the best surgeons can't stop our bodies from trying to heal themselves the
way that nature intended. They may be able to go and lyse the results of surgery
but chances are the adhesions will return even more numerous than before. People
to know this is natural and not the fault of any doctor. I personally have been
to 4 different surgeons, all of whom have refused to do surgery until an emergency
situation arises. I did have a lap scope and the doc just backed right out
because there were too many adhesions to view any organs or move the camera
and instruments around. While this is frustrating and the pain continues, like
you say, it is better than surgeries that produce more problems. This board
needs more people to speak up with their experiences; the bad and the good.
Even the people who have went to Germany and Pa. seem to be still having the
same problems after a few months. Everyone seems to be afraid to tell their
results when they are not all that good. I have to say, if you are "kicked
off" this board for expressing your opinion then I will also leave. This is
supposed to be a type of support group and that means saying what you feel and
know is right. When I first found this sight, I had hope that my situation
would greatly improve. NOT. What I found was support, information, compassion,
caring, friends I will probably never meet face to face, but I still consider
friends none the less. My medical situation has not improved but my mental
state has improved greatly. That is worth its weight in gold! I know I am not
alone. So, Karla, keep your spirits up, your thoughts hopeful and us posted.
Say what you want to say and know that I, for one, support you 100%.
