I am going to be very blunt and honest...and my butt will probably be kicked off of this list for saying what I am going to say...but it is MY opinion and it needs to be said. This is not an attack on anyone. Too often we have new people come to this list looking for doctors to help them out. God Bless them all! But, without them knowing that their really aren't any doctors out there that can help they wonder aimlessly from one doctor to the next. Surgery after surgery. Soon they will all end up like me!!!! Don't do it! Save up the money and go to Germany or to the adhesion clinic in Scranton....its well worth it. You may not get the cure you are looking for, but after you have been there you will no that you've been to the best. People have to realize that each surgery they go through makes their condition worse. The only answer is to stop having the surgery...until they can go to the best. And hopefully they can get everything taken care of with those doctors. I have only heard of a few individuals who continue to have problems after making these visits...so to me its time and money well spent.
I suppose you are all saying...."then why is she looking to have another surgery". I don't have a choice. Mine isn't about adhesions anymore...although adhesions caused the problem. When I sit back and count the number of surgeries I have had in my lifetime its probably real close to fifty. All because I was so ignorant that I trusted in the doctors to do what was right. Now, if I don't have surgery I will die...and the dying part is getting closer and closer with each hospitalization for infection.
Don't do it! Do your research and get to the best doctor available. I don't care if you like your doctor or not...I liked mine!!! I know that none of you like to be in pain...me either, but pain is a lot better than being dead!
