Dear Julie, I had surgery for adhesions two years ago and started having pain 2 months after. I went back to the doctor who did the surgery, he told me he could not do anything else for me. I thought there was something else terribly wrong, no one ever told me that they could form right away. I was told several diagnosis' including Irritable Bowel to Functional Disorder.I don't know why doctors don't tell you that they can come right back. I just had surgery in Pa. on May 17th. I also had adhesions removed when I had pelvic surgery for other reasons, my doc never told me about the adhesions. I read about them on my surg. records. I have learned that we ourselves have to take control. This site is one good way to learn a lot. I hope you get the care you need. Kelly M.
