During a recent visit with a surgeon he suggested that a Bakers tube
might help with abdominal adhesions. It seems a flexible tube is place
in the small intestine and left in place for 2-6 weeks. During that
time the adhesions will form but the intestines will not crink or
collaspe. After a healing time, the tubing is removed from the side
where it has extended during the healing process. Has anyone had this
procedure? Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
