Linda,

Perhaps you could answer a question for me? What is Dura Mater? I have had umpteen zillion hernia procedures since 1991 (I am not exaggerating either...well, maybe not quite a zillion). I am in the process of having some sort of special synthetic wall made especially for me that will be put in and expanded over a matter of time. Then once it is to where they want it to be they will bring it down (from my upper abdomen) after they have done my urinary revision. I have been everywhere in search of help...including Mayo...and nobody could come up with any solutions other than this doctor at the University of Chicago.
