Hello everyone! I have not been able to post on the board for a few days. I have done the silliest thing, by going out and breaking my foot. I will be in a cast for a while, and it definitely hurts the adhesions having to carry around extra weight on that side. I went to the doctor, and he said that he felt I was doing great with the adhesions at the present. He did order me a prescription of vicodin, and talwin (prn) and hopefully I will continue to do well during the holidays. I am planning to go out shopping with a group of friends on Saturday, so maybe the new medication helped with the depression and the pain. I haven't felt this good (other than the broken foot) in a few weeks now. The new medication is 25 mg. Vioxx. It is one of the new Cox drugs. They are supposed to get rid of pain, but have little or no side effects. I have been able to be at work everyday for the last 40 days. I am off for the broken foot for 3 days now, so I will have a medical excuse. Thanks to all of you, and if I don't tell you before Christmas, I hope all of you have a Merry Christmas, and a Joyous New Year. God Bless, Kim Hickey
