Hi Jaynie, Thanks for the info :) I know massage only makes me feel better while it's being done, usually doesn't last after it's over. But I can say this. Yesterday I had to see a different PT because mine is on vacation this week. The new guy did things a little different and I found myself feeling relief long after I left! My usual treatment consists of electro stimulation (can't take it any higher than 2!), moist heat packs, low ultra sound (can't even feel it), and light exercise, sometimes menthol cream is applied. Yesterday the routine was varied and I liked it better. The new guy did the moist heat packs to neck and back, then HF ultra sound (it was hot and soothing!), NO electro at all, then to finish up he massaged the ultra sound cream into my lower back. That felt good during and for hours after! I see him again tomorrow and I am going to let him know that's the routine I'd like to stick with for awhile, but would love to incorporate more massage into it! What is cranial-sacral body work? And what is psoas? Gina
