Helen- I really enjoyed this article. As someone who sought out 3 opinions all supporting TAH BSO for severe endo and adhesions, this was a very positive warning. It was not necessary, in fact. A lesser invasive technique (excision) via scopecould have reduced my disease and re-surgery rate by 80%. I have no endometriosis now but because it was my 7th surgery, the adhesions, regardless, are there. Sometimes we can serve others better as a warning than an example.
