Hey guys,

One small word of warning on the mineral oil. It coats the bowel and causes malabsorbsion of certain vitamins and minerals. Other than that if it works for you great!! I personally can't take it because of the Crohn's which can cause severe diarrhea ie. I already have trouble getting the nutrients that I need. But lord a mighty, when things "stop" the pain is unbelievable. Maybe I could take it only on the times that I need it? Does it work that quickly or do you get relief only after taking it for several days? Let me know. Take care. Ginny

>Sherry, thanks loads for the extra info. I suffer VERY badly from constipation and am on a regimen using Senekot (sp?) from my P.M. dr. I STILL feel like I am being sliced into when I go even though I am on this regimen. I am buying a bottle tonight and start! I can't wait! It will be soooo nice to be regular again and HOPEFULLY, little or no pain when I DO go. And yes, who would have thought we would be talking about "to go or not to go, that is the question" tee hee hee!! Love and prayers to all.
