Hello All:

I dont post to the forum often. But I read it faithly everyday. I too have adhesions on my large intestine; both sides. I started having abdominal pains in January 1998...a slew of tests showing nothing...led me to laproscopic surgery on August 5, 1999 and Adhesions were discovered. Why they are there no one knows! They are calling them "Spontanous Adhesions".

Are anyone's adhesions in here spontaneous?? It sounds like most of you can attribute it to surgery, endo, or some type of disease. Mine dont seem to have a source! Which is odd. And I keep wondering if the doctors are missing something...some kind of condition. I experience internal flareups which I feel heat and inflammation. But why? Can anyone shed any light?

Anyway, I have been reading good things about MSM <Methly-Sulfonyl-Methane> for pain and inflammation. Its a natural supplement that you can find at any health store. I was wondering if anyone here has tried it. A lot of things have been written about MSM and it seems to help many problems including arthritis and a list of other ailments. So I thought I would try it for pain and inflammation relating to my adhesions.

I hope we all find a solution to this horrible problem!

Helen
