Yes, I agree with this tactic completely. I did just that--collected pages and pages of information and presented it to my doctor. To be honest, I didn't know how she'd respond; I know some doctors really don't like to be told their jobs plus they seem to hate when patients self diagnose. Anyway, though, she responded quite favorably and I believe it shamed her a bit into doing a bit of local research herself. Good luck. Ellen
