Welcome Mary! I had to chuckle when I read you post about the monster in
your abdomen. I have referred to my adhesions as the alien that has
invaded my body! We have a wonderful group of people here. Before I
found this forum, I thought I was the only one with this problem. I
have suffered with dense adhesions for almost 10 years. Due to the
dense adhesions, my surgeries are always laparotomies. I had my total
hysterectomy, appendectomy and lysis 7 months ago. My doctor used
Seprafilm adhesion barrier. I feel that the barrier has slowed down
adhesion formation but not eliminated them. My problem area is
adhesions on my intestines, bowel and bladder. Again, welcome to the
forum. I have found there is strength in friendship that helps us
