Karen had a great idea about having 20/20 et al. investigate not only the Mayo Clinic but also the other major clinics that are supposed to be "the best" but fall terribly short of the mark. If you have had a bad experience with any major "world renoun" medica center - then post that experience on the 20/20 webpage as well. Based on what I have read and experienced - these medical centers perform a mountain of tests, run up a monstrous medical bill - and still have no answers. We walk away from the experience feeling hopeless and used. They are more like a money pit than a health care provider. If we don't join together and voice our complaints - no one will do it for us - so if you have a complaint about a famous medical center - tell your story - maybe if enough of us speak up - we will get their attention and get these places some negative publicity. With any luck - they will change the way they treat those of us who seek out their expertise and we can keep others like us from experiencing what we have. Please let me know if you do decide to tell your story - the more of us that post - the more likely they will be to investigate our complaints!
