Hi Sherry:

This is my new area of complaint-the lower back on the right side down into the area where the bone is that you sit on (ischium) I just came from the colo-rectal surgeon who told me his wife's experience. Turns out she had had some gyn procedure done on one side some years before, then developed pain there. Nothing showed up on tests and finally a bone scan showed inflammation of her sacroiliac joint on the side where the procedure was done. Apparently pain in this area is referred to the abdomen sometimes and to the hip on the same side. So now my question is, in my case, is the pain I'm having because adhesions have invaded this area, or is it because I have some kind of problem in this area that caused the pain in the first place. Right now I feel like I will never know.

Chris
