Hi Brenda:
I know what you mean about fiber causing problems. One day when I was
having pain to begin with I at a lot of grapes for dessert. I thought
for sure that evening I was developing a bowel obstruction. The pain
was incredible but it eventually passed. I now recognize this type of
pain (don't always have this type) and when I have it I know to go easy
on that kind of food.
This is very frustrating because I'm also trying to control cholesterol
with a "heart healthy diet" which includes lots of fiber. Plus, if you
are taking a lot of narcotics its very easy to get plugged up. Great
choices here!
