Hi Virginia, I was denied SSDI benefits the first time I applied, which is pretty standard. Why is your lawyer not requesting the medical evidence? I agree that you should be sent for a psych evaluate since we generally do have anxiety and depression caused by the ARD. Do you have a work history, or were you applying for SSI? If you were trying for SSDI I may be able to answer some more questions for you. I was allowed, and was surprised as the job that I did for 22 years was considered sedentary and I also have a masters degree. Dawn B.
