Hi Stacey,

I just had a rectosigmoid colectomy with Dr. Redan 11/13. I too am a victim of slow transit constipation as well as a host of other things. I have had 3 open surgeries for adhesions and a bunch of laps for different things. (gallblader, hysterectomy,etc.). I also ended up having my appendix taken out as it was engulfed in adhesions this last surgery. I am only a few weeks out so I cannot tell you much as I am definately healing and my body is trying to get use to it's "new self". I did want to encourage you and remind you of what a great doctor- Dr. Redan is. Take good care and let us know how you are doing. Blessing! Robin
