Before getting your perfectly good uterus removed, get a second and/or third opinion. I truly believe we are close to an FDA approval of an adhesion barrier for use during surgery(ies). You said "I fear that if I am > prone to adhesions, and they take out the uterus, then it will be stuck to

in this assertion...they have to attach to something...I'd rather it be my uterus instead of my small bowel which could cause you to perhaps have to wear a bag one day.
