Dr. Advincula at U of M, Ann Arbor, MI (Ob/Gyn) specializes in endometriosis, pelvic pain disorders, adhesions, etc.  Additionally, he is kind, really listens and is very gentle.  He truly believes in the pain we are experiencing.

Dr. Dodds at Providence Hospital (his office is in Farmington Hills, MI) is another astounding physician (gyn).  He treated me very aggressively and is the doctor who realized that adenomyosis was the cause of my pain (many years ago).  Adhesions are just a subsequent problem due to the numerous endo, cysts, adenomyosis surgeries.  He actually gave me his personal cell phone number for emergencies.  How many doctors do that nowadays?

I go back and forth to these two physicians because of insurance changes.  They both receive all my medical records and correspond with one and other in reference to my treatment.  I highly recommend both.

I had ulcerative colitis as a teenager and a subsequent ileostomy and ever since then I've been in a world of hurt over these damn adhesions.   Please email me directly at carynlruzich@comcast.net.  I look forward to hearing from you.   Best Regards,

Caryn

After a long history of ovarian cysts, endometriosis, adenomyosis, blood clots, adhesions and intestinal blockages due to adhesions, I have found 2 wonderful physicans NOT so interested in medicating and who do NOT think it is in my head.  1)  Dr. Dodds, Providence Hospital in Southfield Michigan, 2) Dr. Advincula at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan.

They saved my life!  If you can get to Michigan , schedule an appointment with either of them!

Good luck and wish me luck with my next surgery!
