I find that Internal Medicine Doctors are best for me. I wouldn't go to a Gasternologist for adhesions. Some people say that high-fiber works best for them. I seem to have less pain on a low-fiber diet. I think you need to try both and see.

I am very happy to have found an adhesions support group. I have had 5 abdominal surgeries 4 through a c-section scar and 1 try though my belly button that of course didn't work. My last abdominal surgery was 1 yr. ago and I am really feeling the effects of it now. Has anyone found any meds that control the pain but don't make you feel tired. How about any info on special diets....I am willing to try anything.....I also don't know which docs to go through to find answers..so many just ignore me. I had to go through ultrasounds and catscans and finally oh I guess they are there...all right lets do surgery....ugh...please help...thanks .tammy..ps/ do I go back to an obgyn when most of that has been removed? or what doc for the abdomen?
