Lou, I am going to another doctor today and will plead for proper testing. I do suffer from degenerative disk disease in my neck and perhaps its now in lower back. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi Donna, Maybe it might be a good thing to have your hip look at by a orthopedic Dr.there are a lot of nerves in that area and one might be pinching. I have had back problem for years degenerative discs and sometimes I get that kind of pain which the Drs say its sciatica. It would not be worth it to see someone and get the right treatment.
