Hi Donna, I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. I know how it is not wanting to say anything to my family, BUT... they already know. My husband can tell by the way I walk, sit, handle myself, speech, and he/they can always tell by my eyes. I get tired of it all too. When I had a slipped disc years ago, I had pain shooting in my rear end, and down my leg, eventually one morning I got up to get ready for work, and my left leg was like a dead noodle dragging, and I could hardly walk. I was down flat on my back for 3 months. My Husband had Sciatica and had back surgery for it. He had shooting leg pain, rear end pain, numbness, and jerking going on in his fingers. Both situations were very painful. Have you been reffered to a neurologist? My son has a hip problem it's called Hip FAI. (femoralacetabular impingement syndrome) It is from his hip being used so much growing up. He rode, and raced motocross, skateboarded, scooters, Razors, bicycles, etc. He can't sit for very long, ride in a car short trips only, and basically no activities. His hip socket does not fit into the joint, and needs surgery. It will be about $32,000.00 without ins. and we don't have it. At times it is so bad, he can only lay down with heat and takes muscle relaxers so at least he can sleep. I know how thorough Dr. K. is, I have been to him too. I hope you take it easy, and get in to see another doctor ASAP. The hardest thing too is when we get so stressed from the pain. It just makes it worse. Best of luck to you, Cheryl D. > From: donnajohansen@telus.net
