I've been told also by a few docs that adhesions don't cause pain. Thank God my family doctor gets it and helped me to land with the surgeon that i did. As far as the pain management clinic, I think it's a good idea. It doesn't mean you're crazy at all! I've also been fortunate to have a good pain management clinic to go to. I haven't joinedit yet, but they have a support group for people with chronic pelvic pain. It exists as we all know too well and there are people who recognize it. I was looking at the pain clinic's web site recently. I didn't realize it until then, but one of the procedures they offer there is "epidural lysis of adhesions." I'm going to ask them about it just out of curiosity at my next appt. I am feeling so much better after surgery, but do have some of the old pain, as I've posted, which could be part of the healing still or related to the pancreatic deal. Anyway, I'm keeping my appointment at the pain clinic. I don't know what I would have done without them over the last year! Please try the pain clinic. Maybe they can help you find somoeone who could do something surgically! Hang in there! Oh, from evrything I've read and heard, yes, you can get them after many years post surgery, unfortunately!
