Hi All, I don't regret having my last two surgeries. No! having surgery is not the best thing for us, but waiting until it's an emergency is more dangerous. I've learned to trust my body and know when to say enough is enough. Before my next to the last surgery I was so bad I almost lost my right kidney/Ureter. I got there in time,( I flew to Pa.) I would do it again in a heartbeat. Having a surgeon who deals with adhesions is definately a plus. Their up on current barriers etc. I think from reading this website occassionally there are a lot of people out there that are so afraid of surgery that they wait too long. Just a comment, just letting any doctor take care of us in an Emergency. No Way !! I'd rather be ahead of the game and go to someone who knows what their doing. Marlene
