It sounds like it may not necessarily be the spine.(abd adhesions can cause all sorts of problems, putting pressure on the veins etc in the leg) I also have seen adhesions on the spine.(OR nurse). It doesn't happen as much as abdominally, but is possible. Their are other things that can cause this weakness also. Hopefully she has a good Doc who is helping her figure this out.
